So the shopping centre is getting knocked down next week! Absolutely ridiculous decision yet again from a council apparently that couldn't be less interested in Blyth. The building isn't even 35 years old it looks brand new.
How exactly do you attract retailers to the town by driving retailers out of the town and demolishing the shops they occupied?
Never heard anything so ridiculous.
Who builds a college in a town centre? How will that attract shoppers to the remaining shops? I mean Greg's and subway will be over the moon but other than businesses like those, are a load of students going to spend money in frameworks? Or charming thoughts?
At least they won't have to walk far for a vape.
